Each smart sock is infused with three proprietary textile sensors under the plantar area (bottom of the foot) to detect foot pressure.
The conductive fibers relay data collected by the sensors to the Core. The sock has been designed to function as a textile circuit board.

Weighing less than 7grams, Core is only a square inch in size and can connect up to 8 external sensors.
When connected to the sock, the Core communicates continuously with the mobile app through Bluetooth Smart.
The Core battery supports active usage over 12 hours. It also contains a 9-axis IMU (accelerometer, magnetometer and gyroscope) to further enhance data monitoring.
